EMBARQ-FedEx Collaboration Aims to Improve Public Transport in Developing Countries
FedEx will provide $1.4 million over two years to EMBARQ for sustainable transportation projects.
A new collaboration to optimize city bus operations in Mexico, Brazil and India was announced today by FedEx Corp. and EMBARQ, the World Resources Institute’s center for sustainable transport.

However, despite all of the BRT projects popping up around India, there is still a dearth of local BRT experts with experience adapting BRT to Indian conditions.
