EMBARQ India, has positively influenced Atal Indore City Transport Services Limited (AICTSL) in finalizing the station configuration for the BRT system in Indore. During the AICTSL board meeting ,it was decided that BRT stations , will now be located in the median of the road with platforms at the height of 900 mm to match the floor height of the new buses procures under the JnNURM scheme.

As a result of this decision, of level boarding on the BRTs, there would be shorter dwell times and greater accessibility to the elderly, visually impaired and physically challenged commuters of Indore city.

The board meeting was held on 4th August 2010 at Indore.
